A published writer and paraprofessional educator (US), I have experience teaching groups ranging from special-needs adolescents to adult learners, in subjects such as physical education, information-literacy and history. Over the year, I have also volunteered in numerous drug and alcohol treatment facilities in the US, working with individuals recovering from substance abuse issues in outpatient treatment situations. I therefore recognise the importance of aftercare, of people discovering new environments and life styles to reduce the risk of relapse once back home.As a former law enforcement officer and emergency management volunteer (US), I automatically build security and protection concerns into all expedition planning, to ensure safe and successful client experiences.
