I am passionate about supporting people to find meaning and healing. By combining experiences from rigorous graduate training, ethical and empirical practices as well as a profound curiosity in individual differences, I help clients make positive changes in their lives. My focus is on helping clients suffering from depression, anxiety, addictions, post-trauma and other serious and challenging mental illnesses.
I have been involved in developing pathways for people within various contexts to promote emotional wellbeing and happiness. I have also been involved in various needs assessment initiatives, programme development and evaluation processes for big to small corporate organisations, as well as offering training, presentation at conferences, and facilitating mental health information distribution activities, through writing and facilitation of various talks around Africa.
I hold a MA in clinical psychology and am experienced in behavioural assessment through observation, interviews and psychometric tests. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the British Psychological Society and the Kenya Psychological Association.
I am excited to be part of the Expedition Discovery’s “Recovery through Discovery”; a programme supporting healing by encouraging clients to experience the natural beauty of Africa in a caring atmosphere.
